The long-awaited Arrested Development movie was confirmed by Jason Bateman on MSNBC’s Countdown Tuesday night.

Plugging his new movie Hancock, Bateman confided to Keith Olbermann that a film adaptation of the cult TV comedy is “in the works.” The Countdown segment also featured a surprise appearance from Bateman’s “Arrested” co-star David Cross.

    Am I the only person alive who loved the TV series to bits but honestly just can’t bring himself to care about this supposed new movie?
