Auditions are underway for Peter Parker in a proposed Spider-Man musical that will feature a score by Bono and The Edge from U2 and will be directed by Julie Taymor (The Lion King).
The casting call for Peter Parker describes him as:
“male, 16-20’s [with a] great rock voice, can be nerdy with understated sex appeal, good sense of humor”
While Parker’s girlfriend, Mary Jane, is:
“female, 16-20’s, beautiful girl next door, strong pop/rock singing voice.”

Actually Jim Sturgess and Evan Rachel Wood are supposed to be starring in it, I think the casting call is for understudies… its kinda hush hush right now but theyve been in the forefront for almost a year now to play the roles.
